A New Year gives new impulses, ideas and freshness. So why not detox your skin with natural homemade body scrubs? Unfortunately, a lot of Scrubs you can buy (yes, also some expensive ones) contain micro plastics, also known as microbeads. What are microbeads? Microbeads are very small bits of plastic to supply scrubbing power to body washes, exfoliators, toothpastes, and other cleansing products. They look like tiny spheres and they are polluting our water and oceans. It has become a giant problem and that’s why we recommend to use natural scrubs instead. But once you know about it you are definitely going to avoid them in your everyday life.
For your DIY-Scrubs these are the basics:
the “scrubby” part: sugar and/or salt
the nurturing part: oil (olive or coconut)
the extras: essential oil, food coloring, blossoms, fruit … Try it out yourself and be creative!
To start with, try these 3 Body Scrubs. They are really easy and made within minutes! They make a great gift, too, just fill them in a beautiful jar and add a colorful ribbon, voila! Prefer organic ingredients.

The trending cosmetic ingredient caffeine stimulates the blood flow, enhancing the circulation, giving the skin an instant fresh look and sensation.

For your healthy skin you should also drink at least 2 liters water or tea per day, stay in motion, limit your sun exposure, use sun screen, avoid smoking and alcohol, eat and sleep healthy. See? It is so easy! 🙂
